After my pure enjoyment from the previous episode, I felt betrayed that this was just a meh one. As a Jerry Yan fan, it was hard for me to enjoy but it was definitely a good episode for its life lessons.
I expected a lot more from this episode, especially that I had a great time in episodes 4–5. At this point, I’m just in the limbo between liking this drama or not. You will see this clearly in my balanced number of things that I liked and disliked in this episode!
We love a feisty female lead who dares to kiss her boss like it’s nothing. If the previous episode was a lot of fun, it’s even better news that this episode 5 just proved that a drama can still improve as the episodes go by.
This was a lot of fun and the most I’ve had yet! It actually focused on the characters trying to figure out why luck has either been on their side or not. Lu Xing Cheng is still not buying it though, but there’s one thing that he’s into: having Tong Xiaoyou by his side!
