Yes, you did not read it wrongly. Neither was that a typo. This is me, after procrastinating for a year. I have been 80% done with this post for a year but never got around completing it so I decided to publish it now. Time to refresh your memories on some of the best variety shows I watched in 2015!
Hello everyone, we are reaching the end of 2015. My drama portfolio this year was lacklustre so I’ll let Marian post all the Year-End Round-up posts while I share about what was actually a big deal for me this year – blogging about dramas and variety shows!
The number 1 big milestone would of course be the fact that we bought our own domain and moved to http://www.skimmedmilkdrama.com.
Other than that, the WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog so we can see what other records this new blog holds as well. It has pretty interesting statistics including the number of views from each country and the most active commenters.
Tonight, we are at the much awaited Beijing National Stadium, 鸟巢! Join me as we find out who the winner is after so many rounds of competition.
Hello everyone. Can’t believe we are nearing the end of The Voice of China Season 4. I never planned and never thought I would recap this series all the way to the end! I’ve never been a musically inclined person so recapping a singing competition as my first ever full series recap had never occurred to me. I’m really heartened to see so many people reading my recaps and recently, commenting and discussing! Today, I’m gonna share my predictions about who will win this competition!
[Disclaimer: This, along with all my other Voice of China posts, are all my thoughts and opinons which might not be what the general population thinks. These posts might be influenced by my preferences and I’m not a pro at this so take everything with a pinch of salt!]
Tonight will be a battle between our top 10 finalists. Will your favourite singers make it to the Top 5? Continue reading to find out.
Hello my dears, in my Voice of China Ep 11 recap, I mentioned that there was a ‘media clash’ between Wang Feng and the media. I had wanted to blog about it when I first read about it but decided not to reveal spoilers. Now that the episode is aired, here’s more about it. Last week, Wang Feng suffered 3 consecutive defeats when his team went against Harlem’s team and made a controversial speech because he was very upset with the judges (made up of the media and people from the music industry). Wang Feng had blamed the media for being unfair towards his students because of prejudice against him.
This week, the sister-brother alliance are against each other. Will Na Ying’s team (小二班) or Jay’s team (地表最强战队 – Jay’s team changed name again? It’s now Strongest Team on Earth) emerge victorious? I foresee a lot of crying, especially from Na Ying’s team. (Edit: I was wrong)
Just a recap, from Na Ying team we have: Chang Yu, Sun Bo Lun, Zhang Lei and Langgalamu and from Jay’s team: Chen Zitong, Li An, Guan Shimin and Li Xin Ni.
This week, the Top 4 of Harlem’s team are revealed! Harlem starts off with a speech about crying too. He has always emphasized on happiness but even if his students want to cry on stage, then let it go and cry it all out! Be honest to your own feelings.
Harlem also invited JJ Lin to be his guest judge! Continue reading
Tonight, the top 4 of Jay’s team will emerge. Jay shares that he wishes his students to be happy and not cry, even if they have to leave the stage. Unlike some other mentors… which we all know is Na Ying, because I mentioned this in my previous recap. Harlem then warned Jay better not to cry tonight. Well, we’ll see. Continue reading
