[In view of Single’s Day (11/11) tomorrow, I decided to publish this draft that has collecting dust since March when WAIL 2 first aired]
After releasing the We Are In Love Season 2 Special episode on 14 Feb 2016, the first episode is finally here on 20 March 2016!
It is surprising that I would be watching this, because I wasn’t a crazy fan of the original Chinese drama, Bu Bu Jing Xin / Scarlet Heart, it was based on. In fact, despite my love for palace dramas, I was never really interested in that drama. I knew people were crazy over it, I kept up with the storyline but it was just too angsty for my liking. I know I’ll enjoy it if I do watch, but the amount of tears I’ll most likely drop while watching the drama has successfully deterred me from watching the actual drama. I contented myself with just reading recaps (and even that made me drop a tear or two… good job recappers!)
So, why would I watch this drama? Good question, I don’t know either. It just happened. And thus far, I’ve been enjoying it a lot. Here are a couple of thoughts I have from watching this drama (synopsis).
World renowned Japanese table tennis player, Ai Fukuhara (Fu Yuan Ai), released a press conference on 21st September 2016 and announced that she and Taiwanese table tennis player, Chiang Hung-chieh (Zhang Hong Jie), has tied the knot on 1st September.

It is heartbreaking to be typing this. I am still in shock. Mainland actor, Kimi Qiao Ren Liang is dead. This fact have been confirmed by his studio via weibo. He was only 28.
Wedding bells ringing everywhere.
On July 5th, Chen Xiao and Michelle Chen registered for their marriage and announced the latter’s pregnancy while Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo announced wedding plans. However, we missed out that one of our hottest taiwanese actor (and also the best Gong Min of the Tiny Time Series), Rhydian Vaughan got married to his long-time non-celebrity girlfriend even earlier!
July 5th is indeed a joyous day. We have heard the news of Michelle Chen’s marriage registration and pregnancy and now, wedding bells are ringing for Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo!
From reel to real. Yang Guo and Xiao Long Nu from The Romance of the Condor Heroes are now married. As an added bonus, they have a baby coming along the way!
