Wedding bells ringing everywhere.
On July 5th, Chen Xiao and Michelle Chen registered for their marriage and announced the latter’s pregnancy while Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo announced wedding plans. However, we missed out that one of our hottest taiwanese actor (and also the best Gong Min of the Tiny Time Series), Rhydian Vaughan got married to his long-time non-celebrity girlfriend even earlier!
July 5th is indeed a joyous day. We have heard the news of Michelle Chen’s marriage registration and pregnancy and now, wedding bells are ringing for Ruby Lin and Wallace Huo!
From reel to real. Yang Guo and Xiao Long Nu from The Romance of the Condor Heroes are now married. As an added bonus, they have a baby coming along the way!

While Jay Chou, Na Ying, Wang Feng and Harlem Yu will still be uncovering new voices for us, Voice of China will cease to exist due to a legal dispute over copyright.
4 words: Next crack variety show. (Just look at all the gifs in this post, I promise you will be sold too!) Season 2 of Challenger Alliance is a refreshing change. With half the cast changed, we have Chen Xuedong, Xie Yilin (Hold-zhu Sister) as well as Xue Zhiqian joining Fan Bingbing and Li Chen while Chen Handian takes a smaller role and retreats to the sideline; Season 2 seems to be promising.
New drama featuring Chen Xue Dong as the main lead? Well, regardless of storyline, I’m definitely watching this drama. Alongside him, Ouyang Nana who was on the reality show, Up Idol, will star as the female lead. While I’m a bit doubtful of Ouyang Nana’s age and acting, I know I’ll sit through anything for Chen Xuedong!
By now, everyone should know I love Go Fighting! And while recapping is too tedious to do, I love watching and discussing the Go Fighting cast. (In fact, I’m now watching To Be A Better Man, starring Sun Honglei & Zhang Yixing but that’s another story for another day.) Today, we’ll be talking about our favourite little lamb turned fox, Exo’s Lay Zhang Yixing.

Hello lovely readers! Long time no see, right?!! Well, it’s going to be longer as I’ll be explaining why I haven’t/won’t be blogging in so long.
1. WORK. I honestly didn’t expect this work to take over my life and it’s been crazy and challenging but I can manage! I’ve been working for 3 months to be exact today 😊
2. STUDY. I have a major board exam coming up which will take place this coming August 30 & 31! This will be the biggest test that I will be taking so please do pray for me!
3. JAPAN! I’m glad to share with you friends that our thesis/final research paper has been chosen to be presented in the upcoming Yokohama conference this coming July 24-29. Will be basically staying in Japan for one week yay!
Preparations for #2 & #3 have been ongoing and this is why I haven’t been blogging 😦 I seriously miss it but you can guarantee that I’ll be back once #2 & #3 have finished with flying colors!
Meanwhile, here’s what’s been happening in my now limited fangirl world:
– REALITY SHOWS! Crazy over The Great Challenge (C-version of “Infinite Challenge” with Ethan Ruan!!) and We Are In Love Season 2 with Bolin & Jihyo aka my parents
– DRAMAS. Actually had time to finish My Queen and Scarlet Heart and they’ve ruined my life at some point. Also got to rewatch my classic faves like In Time With You, Fated to Love You, etc.
So that’s what’s been happening so far and it doesn’t mean that I’ve completely disappeared from dramaland as you can still see me tweet regularly in @SMilkdrama 😊💕 hope to see you once I get to blog again!
P.S. I still check my Weibo every night since it has become my tradition lol and also read blogs here on WordPress from time to time 😉
