Probably my favorite episode yet (considering that I have yet to watch the next episodes). Relive the funny and adorable moments of the 5th episode of “The Perfect Match” with me!
The reason why she prepared the famous Taiwanese night market snack using chicken breast. Yum!
Uh-oh! Did her chicken fail?
Oops nevermind, it was a success yay!
Tianzhi’s fiancee is being nosy. She’s somehow finding a way to cause tension between the Huo brothers. Good thing Tianzhi isn’t really buying it, or maybe he will 😮
They’re basically having a post-event evaluation haha! Tingen’s giving Fenqing a lecture on how being rich and famous is not always what it seems to be. I just didn’t like how Fenqing was shown to be an ignorant when she thought that people like Tingen have it easy,
Smooth 😉 this is what he has always wanted to ask her!
It’s all in the details! Love the heart bokeh as the scene’s background.
Pervert men are making fun of Gina and there’s Tingen to the rescue!
Oh yes, he did!
*crickets*
What a pretty subtle way for him to reject her!
Why wasn’t this an imagination/dream sequence?!! I didn’t screencap any scenes from this because it was too cringe-worthy. Like why did they let that happen in the drama? I’m talking about how everyone in the party suddenly did the “dab and bite” dance… HELP. Worst part of it was that it wasn’t a dream.
Our lovely drunk couple acting like people attended their wedding lol
Oh please stop making Tingen-Ruxi happen, little bro.
Here comes everything funny, crazy, and adorable scenes!
Ooohhh… I’m in! More, more, more!
Fenqing and Tingen keep figuring out about what happened to them last night. All thanks to the Dom Perignon given to them. They were so drunk that they wanted more. He told her that caviar suits with the champagne best which is why they went to his house.
Oh no, annoying mama dropped by to be very nosy about her son’s shenanigans haha!
“Girlfriend” please. I’m sure you wouldn’t mind if your mom didn’t care about her being your girlfriend.
More flashbacks to what happened last night <33
And so Cinderella went home at 7AM and left her pair of shiny shoes at her Prince Charming’s home.
Didn’t expect her to let go of her dad’s journal especially that her chef-apprentice relationship with Tingen goes on and off.
She decided to give the journal to her little brother who’s currently taking up culinary arts. Go girl! I support you in making your own journal 😀
Annoying Shaowei being Shaowei. It’s none of your business if she stayed out late at night with Tingen (mwahaha!)
Stalker mode: ON. He followed Fenqing to the gynecologists’s clinic. This is just going to be way funny. I could feel it!
Crazy Tingen flashbacks to what happened to them last night and jumped to conclusion.
Aww I swear, he was making my heart melt even if we all knew that he’s just being ridiculous.
HAHA I had to pause these scenes because they were just too funny!
Now both of them got their answers, apparently Fenqing’s little brother just accompanied his girlfriend for some check-up (but it’s not related to pregnancy).
Aww stop it, he just won’t stop making my heart melt 😥
*blah blah blah* Tianzhi is just being innocently annoying. I hate how he’s leading Gina on and always making his brother caught off-guard with his set-ups.
New season = new menu! But white curry is a no-go!
Fenqing was doing the right thing in making curry! Tingen was just smiling randomly and it was making me smile like an idiot too :”)
It’s not the coffee, honey! 😉
They got into a little argument about how Fenqing was caught just estimating the amount of ingredients needed for the curry instead of following the recipe. After that, he asked Xiaobin to take care of Fenqing at the table service.
Gina made some soup for Tingen *rolls eyes*.
HA HA HA.
Tingen caught Fenqing talking to Ah Wei over the phone outside the kitchen. Then someone came jealously blabbering while eating a cucumber haha! It made me squeal and laugh at the same time lol
Time to be at her best service in which she failed…
I thought that this scene made Fenqing OOC (out-of-character). She wanted to kick the rowdy customers out of La Mure. This is contrary to Tingen’s belief that La Mure welcomes all kinds of customers.
Tingen was expecting that Fenqing would think that sending her to do table service was a form of punishment. It’s good that she didn’t misunderstand him (although I thought it was a punishment lol). He said that he only did that to make Fenqing figure out what kind of chef that she wants to become.
We end with Fenqing also bowing her head to say sorry to the customers that she tried to kick out.
THOUGHTS:
- This episode was crazy, funny, adorable, basically everything lovely! My favorite one so far.
- Our leads just keep getting closer and closer literally and figuratively 😉
- I just hate how there’s always something that makes these two argue or fight about after one has realized his/her feelings for another. Oh well, not all relationships is rainbows and butterflies!
- We got a break from the possible Meng siblings storyline. It’s not that I’m interested in it but I was expecting them to dwell on it. Maybe in the next episodes for sure!
- I don’t have much to say or any speculations about what will happen in the next coming episodes. All I know is that this drama is a delectable treat for my eyes! Looking forward to the next one 😉
