Funny how people asked me to update them last month about Jerry’s new girl, rising TW-actress Seanna Chang but I couldn’t due to my busy schedule. Now that I’m not busy anymore, it seems there’s already a new love interest to report about *gasps*.
Seanna is a “very, very important friend” according to Jerry
It was 9pm when Jerry met up with his female celebrity friends in a restaurant for dinner. Jerry only chatted with them for a short while and entertained himself by playing with his phone.
Ruby arrived late at 10:30 and Jerry apparently appeared livelier (lol at these paps). They happily drank the night away and actually isolated themselves from the crowd in the restaurant.
This happy gathering ended at 1am and Ruby & Jerry rode the taxi together. The paparazzi thought that it was just carpooling and Ruby would go home by herself. But to their surprise, Jerry went down to bring Ruby home and never went out of her house after. A new ship is sailing. The end.
Both are successful Taiwanese actors/producers who have shifted their careers to Mainland China already. Fun fact: Jerry’s quote on saying goodbye appeared in one of the episodes of “The Way We Were” (starred and produced by Ruby) since they’re also long-time friends.
They’re January babies too with Jerry turning 39 this New Year’s Day and Ruby turning 40 on January 27.
I love making parallels so I made one with these two rumored lovebirds who both carried their good friend Vivian Hsu’s baby Dalton just this December.
Jerry’s my ultimate love and I became a fan of Ruby ever since I watched her in “The Way We Were” so I guess I have no problems if ever they’re dating! Watch the video below to see for yourself 😉
UPDATE: Ruby’s manager has responded and said that Ruby and Jerry are only friends. While Jerry’s manager said that Vic Zhou and Ruby live in the same building so Jerry stayed to congratulate Vic with his marriage.
My comments regarding the update: Too cozy to be just friends if you ask me. Managers’ responses were playing safe for sure! Also, can anybody tell me where this building is because I definitely want to visit Ruby and Zai Zai too and casually bump into Jerry visiting his friends… LOL

Yes, dear Dramarian; the our fans group here in Canada and US are composed of different nationalities. We are a group of Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Filipino girlfriends . . One reason why we chose Ruby Lin as our 1st Favourite Asian Actress is she has always that youthful glow, just like you wrote. Ruby represents totally what is beautiful and good for a Chinese/Taiwanese lady. She has a gentle and classic beauty in her ancient Chinese dramas and she can be totally witty and laughable in comedy shows. That’s exciting! *_* It is way pass time for Ruby to get a boyfriend. Her old mates Fan Bingbing and Zhao Wei are both in happily dating/married, so it is finally the turn of Ruby to find love ^_^ Hope they confirm soon

This is my first time to write here. . .Jerry Yan and Ruby Lin are both single, mature and responsible; there is nothing wrong for them to know each other more and to go out together. Both of them are all successful in their career. They shared the same month of birth, Jerry is January 1 (39), Ruby is January 27 (40). For us, the fans of Jerry here in Canada and USA, we believe that they are a good match and have a perfect chemistry for each other. I believe in that too! In the recent news, the media has been bugging Ruby so she told them something like “It’s the holidays, can’t you make me feel at ease?” poor stars whose privacy always get invaded!
I’m turning 2 years in this fandom as well but I only got into it because of Jerry! So we pretty much match well since you know a lot about Ruby and I know a lot about Jerry haha!

It is quite difficult sometimes to navigate your ways, explaining to multi-cultural group on such interests in Asian dramas. Western shows are so much different from Asian . . Our eyes and hearts are on fixated to Ruby Lin . .Isn’t it that when you love a person, your whole being is only focus to him/her? We have only one heart – capable only of loving one person . . My dear Dramarian, we are not too much into Facebook and we don’t have Twitter accounts – you might think we are old-fashioned; but you see, we used to work for many years with the Immigration Lawyers here in Canada, where there is some emphasis into Privacy and Confidentiality. I recalled that you only saw Ruby Lin in The Way We Were; did you remember that in their opening show for Episode 6, Jerry Yan was included as a guest who wrote a goodbye Letter? And here is the English translation of his writings on that notebook:

Yes! I’m probably part of the 1% (or even less) of the population here who loves Chinese/Taiwanese entertainment as everyone else here patronizes Hollywood, Korean, and the local shows more. This is why I find solace in blogging here and even finding people like you! 🙂
