2019 is one interesting year in dramas. Many dramas came out to be successful and loved by everyone. Interestingly, it was a 2019 drama that brought me to a slump for the very first time in my dramaland years. Although you will see how it was the 2019 dramas that saved me from it too! Similar to my previous yearly round-ups, this contains my mini-reviews for each drama that I have completed this year. Luckily, I managed to watch some really good ones still! (In case anyone is wondering why there are two similar posts, I do realise that Marian had already shared her tribute post earlier but I only saw that after deciding I would like to share my thoughts about this whole incident and also document my journey with Godfrey. I guess writing everything out does help with rationalising and accepting the fact.)

How long has it been since we have been hooked by a Taiwanese drama? Let me highlight that it’s not just a Taiwanese drama, but a non-idol Taiwanese drama. It was presented as a drama about cheating, betrayal, and sexual desires but this drama is more than what meets the eye.
Yes, it’s all because of this drama that I have become a wreck again!
As an avid drama-watcher and blogger for five years, I was just in complete denial that I was experiencing this so-called “drama slump” for months. Then came “Before We Get Married” and to say that I have become alive again in drama land is just an understatement.
I wrote this article for it to be a venue for my thoughts on the drama but most especially, for everyone watching it to share their sentiments here! I have been reading many people who wanted to talk about the drama but have not really found people to have that kind of discussion with.
