Skimmed Milk Drama is looking for guest bloggers! (No prior experience needed!)
In an attempt to keep this blog alive, I would like to invite you, our dear reader, to contribute as guest bloggers! You need not be a great writer, you just need to be fluent in english and passionate about dramas to qualify!
Do you…
- Watch dramas/movies/variety shows?
- Have a lot of opinions but no suitable platform to share?
- Like to write?
- Have a decent grasp of English?
- Would like to contribute to Skimmed Milk Drama as a writer?
If you replied yes to all of the above questions, then wait no more! We are here for you 🙂 SkimmedmilkDrama mainly focuses on Mainland & Taiwanese Entertainment but if you have a burning desire to share about other countries drama, we are always open to experiment! You can start with one article first and if you like it, continue on with more!
Interested applicants, please either leave a comment with valid contact details (email or twitter user) OR just email skimmedmilkdrama@gmail.com. We can try to work something out 🙂
PS: I apologise for the lack of presence (and more importantly, updates) recently. Both Marian and I are overwhelmed with real life. I’m on holidays now but it seems that I have a million and one other things to do so I haven’t been able to update. On the bright side, I’m starting to watch Legend of Miyue again so there’s hope that the recaps might continue… albeit belated.
I was planning to write an apology post about my lack of presence but even for that I don’t have time anymore 😭 may probably go back to blogging in full shape in September ☹️ so go apply, dearest people!

Hehehe, I know what you mean there! But no issues, go concentrate on whatever you have to (even though it’s so hard with all these shows hahaha). All the best for your license test (is that what it’s called?)!!! Can’t wait for you to ace it and come back in pride 🙂

I’m interested. I’m a total newbie in both blogging & mainland/taiwanese dramas (have only watched around 2 t-dramas). but I’ve been planning to watch more M/T dramas this year and this seems like good way to go about doing that :p
maybe start with one post and see?
hmmm what type of articles are we to write? recaps? impressions? news? or just anything?

Oooh, newbies. I love newbies 😛 Thank you for the reply!
As mentioned above, anything is welcomed. It could be your thoughts/understanding/reviews on certain dramas or characters, a feature on a particular actor or cast, the latest drama to watch out for, your favourite drama scenes, a comparison between dramas, your own story on how you started watching C dramas or really, anything! It really depends on your interest and style of writing, whether you want it to be a more personal piece (with your own inputs and feelings) or a more factual piece (such as news or recaps).
Skimmedmilkdrama might make some slight edits (in terms of expression and pictures) but the content will remain and you will be credited 🙂
You can either DM or email us the title of the article you want to write after you decide and we can proceed from there 🙂

ah as a kdrama addict with no platform to vent my rants properly (I have a personal blog that’s a mess, and then a drama blog that’s in my mothertongue only), I would love to apply toooooooooooo but my English is kinda so so huhu – I can blog bout Kdramas if you guys (desperately) need help but there would be a lot of editing involved because my grammar is just that awesome lol (see this for a proper example of my just-shove-it-in english: http://sweetmissfifi.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-princess-man-episode-1-recap.html lol)

Hi Afifi!
Thanks for the reply 🙂 It would be great to have someone blogging about kdramas for Skimmed Milk Drama to bring in some fresh new insights on Asian dramas! That’s an area that is lacking on our blog. No worries about your English – I’ll admit it, I have the same attitude of ‘just-shove-it-in’ as you – as long as readers understand generally, it’s good enough :p Of course, on our side, we’ll also (attempt to) vet and make sure posts look as decent as they can be hahaha.
You can email us at skimmedmilkdrama@gmail.com or DM us on twitter @SMilkDrama to discuss about the content of your first post 🙂
Look forward to your reply!
