EPISODE 39
First thing that Tang asked Fangsi after knowing that his dad finally allows them to be together!
Tang told her that as long as he has her, his life is complete. Aww! So now they should hurry and make a child. Oh I would die if someone like Tang/Jerry told me the same thing *_* my life will also be complete… haha!
You just always say it right, Fangsi!
Aww 😦 just realized that now too! He has always been there for her especially in the most critical times.
Xiao Nai’s not willing to forgive Benjamin as long as he’s with Haoran. Now that’s one loyal and true follower of Fangsi!

Tang visits Xiangnan to the set of her photoshoot but this time, not just as a model but as an owner of Tang Huang as well. She was so proud wearing one of Fangsi’s designs but Tang didn’t care.
Xiangnan thought that Tang’s dad still doesn’t approve of Fangsi but Tang apparently visited her to tell her that he’s going to get married. He was willing to invite her since she was once close to him anyway, but Tang took the invitation back.
Xiangnan was expecting for Tang to hate her or to tell her that he has plans of taking revenge but…
Tang even said something worse, she’s nothing to him. You know what they say, it’s better to be hated than be ignored. Having no feelings for a person is much worse than having feelings of hatred.
And our beloved bromance isn’t breaking up after all! Benjamin’s still willing to follow wherever Haoran is as long as he doesn’t disappoint him.
Haoran finds a drunk Xiangnan (after hearing those harsh words from her ex).
Haoran told her that she’s been away for such a long time now so she should go back to Qiao Na Shen. She told him that their marriage was just for him to make his ex-wife feel left out. He asked her to settle all the business matters and once she does, he’d pay her 30 million.
Now that Qiao Na Shen’s diagnosed with cancer, all of the properties will still be in Xiangnan’s hands including the whole Tang Huang.
Tang and his dad had a talk about the women in their lives. He told his dad that his marriage with his mom didn’t work out because his dad wanted her to be someone that she didn’t want to become. This is also why Tang’s willing to support Fangsi in whatever she does because he loves her.
He admitted that he was heartbroken that Fangsi chose her label/store over him 6 years ago but he didn’t understand much then. It is only now that he realized that it was such a special place for Fangsi because it was a gift from her dad and because it was the only place where she could keep her feelings. He wished that he could’ve realized it sooner.
😥 😥 😥 when he learned that Fangsi was willing to give up Fancy for him, it made him love her even more!
His dad then decided to call Fangsi and her mom for a meal. This is a first! A father-son hug 😀
Tang’s dad said that he couldn’t believe that he was willing to sell his company to Xiangnan. Fangsi’s momma immediately defended Tang and Fangsi and talked nonstop. However, she didn’t let Tang’s dad finish his sentence. He was going to say that he was so proud of them for doing that.
So Fangsi’s momma apologized right away and was shocked to hear Tang’s dad call her in law. I love it!
It was such a touching condition from Tang’s dad to get an approval from him.
The Li family and the Fu family are united for the first time ever!
Amy reported to Xiangnan that Fangsi’s building a new label and Tang’s helping her with it. Xiangnan won’t give them an easy time, of course!
Fangsi was asking for advice regarding the proposals that she’s been preparing but her mom and fiancee didn’t seem to hear anything that she was saying that she was just being pushed aside by them. It was such a funny scene!
This was even funnier because Fangsi said “tomorrow” when Tang was asking for the perfect date to get married…
It turns out she was talking to someone from the factory on the phone. Haha!
Fangsi was asking about something that Tang didn’t tell her so she just left him outside her room. Oh cuties! They’re bickering like a married couple already 😉
Xiangnan wanted to buy a necklace which was apparently custom-made for Tang.
Fangsi’s not the type to wear jewelry but Tang told her that she should at least wear one on their wedding day. She also told him to be busy at work and not just be busy preparing their wedding. No can do because it’s the only thing that matters now in Tang’s mind! Where can I get my own Li Tang?!
Xiangnan indirectly greeted Tang and Fangsi when they entered the store but they just ignored her… Oops!
This was designed by Director Shen and Tang called “Blue Flame” especially made for Fangsi.
Fangsi warned Tang that Xiangnan definitely didn’t look so good when she saw them so she told him to be cautious. Tang doesn’t seem to care as long as he has Fangsi with her 😀
This isn’t acting for Jerry because he’s actually known to be caring and nice whenever he’s filming. For this drama, he would always buy food for the crew (and even bought something random like yogurt if I’m not mistaken haha!).
It may be difficult but at least they still have each other!
Xiao Nai interrupted the couple’s sweet moment which annoyed Tang. Haha! And yesss I know you won’t, Fangsi 😀 Jiayou!
We get another drunk Xiangnan with Haoran to the rescue. For her, Haoran is the only person who has never betrayed her nor left her so he is indeed so special to her. She said, those who should be in pain are not while those who should be happy are not as well. She was definitely talking about Tang and Fangsi after seeing them so happy despite the difficulties that they are facing right now. Moreover, she should be happy as well but she really isn’t…
EXACTLY. I’m glad that you realized this as well, Xiangnan! You already got Tang Huang and Fancy, even better is that Haoran has never left by your side but you’re still whining and drinking a lot… Oh well, it’s how human nature works! More in the next episode 😉
EPISODE 40
Xiangnan told Haoran why she got so drunk last night.
She told him that it really irritates her that Tang is still living the perfect life by having a good relationship now with his father and also a very happy relationship with Fangsi. Haoran warned her that she’d end up being unhappy if she continues to live her life taking revenge. Then she said that she’ll make them feel unhappy too. Nice comeback!
First love never dies especially in this case!
Fangsi and Da Luo had a meeting with a company that she got from her mailbox. She thought it was Da Luo who provided information about the company but it turned out that he didn’t know about it. So maybe it was Tang who did it? NOT. Because yup, you guessed it!
Xiangnan got really irritated when she saw that the promotional materials for NSH had Fangsi’s name in it (they still used her designs though). However, they had to nothing to do but put Fangsi’s name because James, a famous international designer, didn’t want to meet with them.
Well, I wouldn’t accept his help as well if I were Fangsi! Jiaxin told them that it was a wasted opportunity since they need larger companies to help them get a loan. Da Luo and Julia said that Haoran can’t be trusted so they’ll just think of other ways instead.
I can’t wait to see this!
FUN FACT: Though this might just be a common knowledge for you Jerry Yan fans out there haha! Jerry started out his career as a model before joining the world of acting. He won the 1998 Men Uno’s Male Model search and it already paved the way for him to be in the modeling industry then he went acting after 😀 Interestingly, his F4 groupmate Vic Zhou recently promoted the same model search recently. Okay I just thought it was cool to share haha!
Fangsi’s latest project for new label: couple clothing called Si Tang (which was the name of their old shop). So many feels!
Tang’s definitely the best ex-boyfriend!
Benjamin’s being held responsible by Haoran to help Fangsi with the companies through Xiao Nai the messenger. He has been working so he definitely needs a kiss reward from our girl, right? 😉
Fangsi’s been bothered that Xiao Nai has been acting weirdly these past few days. She said that she’s been mysteriously taking calls then disappear after. Her drawings have been horrible too! So she believes that Xiao Nai’s been dating (lol). Tang’s happy that Fangsi actually cares about other people now but she said that she has always cared which Tang disagrees with. He said that she only started caring when Xiao Nai betrayed her (lol again) which is actually true!
More suspicions on Xiao Nai because the marketing proposals that she submitted to Tang were flawless. Tang also thinks that she’s been dating someone who’s very good at business so they should hire the guy behind it as well. Haha!
Uncle Xue came to give Xiangnan a wake up call that she’s been slowly getting killed with all of the Tang-Fangsi news that has been going on since they’re getting married soon which also equals to free promotion of their new brand. Xue told her that she’s actually incompetent and said many harsh words as well. This calls for Xiangnan to take action!
Xiangnan is an all-around person with the ability to model, handle business, be evil, and of course the ability to act in front of the media just to get all the attention!
Fangsi and Tang decided to have some Indian food in a restaurant but coincidentally, Xiao Nai was also there with her boyfriend haha!
I was actually hoping that Benjamin would really hide from them so I facepalmed when he accidentally made a scene by bumping into the waitress. And voila, they found out that he’s the one who’s Xiao Nai been seeing!
Of course Tang knew that this was all Haoran’s doing. His loyal follower denied and told him that Haoran’s been busy with work so why would he do this?! but really though, why??
I am one happy shipper because my 2 OTPs in the drama are in one scene sharing a meal and just being funny haha!
Fangsi said that she has nothing against Xiao Nai dating Benjamin but it was really funny when she asked for Tang’s opinion, and that’s what he answered LOL. Well, you were once his special boss when you asked her to be a spy haha!
We end this episode with Haoran meeting with Tang and the latter asking for help.
My thoughts in a nutshell:
- Oh Xiangnan, what else do you really want?! You can never be contented and I definitely wish that I don’t get to meet someone like you!
- I actually feel bad for Haoran because I feel like he’s been getting all the stress for being the neutral/middle man here.
- Can’t wait for Fang Tang’s Si Tang collection! I bet it would just look so adorable!
- Hard work beats talent if talent doesn’t work hard. In this case, both talent and hard work are paving the road to success for Fangsi and Tang’s new brand! Although it really helps that they have Xiao Nai who’s probably dating someone with really good marketing analysis skills *wink wink*.
- These episodes have the elements of a fashion-themed drama but leaning more on the business side of things since this is a Chinese drama. However, I’m still really enjoying it!
